How do I remove multiple pages at once?

Enter the pages as a comma-separated list, for example "1, 3, 7". You can also use ranges such as "5-9". A mix like "1, 3, 5-8" removes page 1, page 3 and pages 5 through 8 in one operation.

Does the tool work on page ranges?

Yes. Use a dash between two numbers to define a range, for example "10-15" deletes pages 10 to 15 inclusive. Ranges and single pages can be combined freely.

Will my PDF be uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your document never leaves your device, which makes the tool safe for contracts and personal records.

Are the remaining pages modified?

No. Only the selected pages are removed. The remaining pages keep their text, images, fonts and layout exactly as they were.

What if I delete the wrong page?

Because the tool works on a copy in your browser, you can simply run it again on the original file. Keep your original PDF until you are happy with the result.

Can I delete pages from a scanned PDF?

Yes. Scanned PDFs are treated like any other PDF, so you can remove blank or duplicated scan pages and keep the rest.

Does the printed page number match the page I should enter?

The tool works in document order, meaning the order of pages inside the file. If your document has a cover page, the printed number may differ from the file order by one.

Can I remove pages from a password-protected PDF?

Only if the PDF is already unlocked. Encrypted documents must be opened with their password first; you can then use the tool on the unlocked copy.

Why would I delete pages instead of splitting the file?

Use deletion when you want to keep the rest of the document in one file. Use splitting when you need the removed pages saved as separate documents. Both tools are available here.

Can I delete a range that includes the last page?

Yes. Ranges such as "20-25" work anywhere in the document, including the final pages, and the tool simply removes those pages from the result.

Will deleting pages reduce the PDF file size?

Usually yes, because removed pages no longer contribute their content to the file. The reduction depends on how large the deleted pages were - deleting image-heavy pages saves more.

Does the tool keep my PDF formatting intact?

Yes. Only the selected pages are removed. Remaining pages keep their fonts, images, tables and layout, because the tool rebuilds the page list rather than re-rendering content.

Can I recover pages after I delete them?

Not from the downloaded file, because deletion removes the pages permanently from that PDF. Always keep the original file and work on a copy, or use the split tool when you might need the removed pages later.
