Which PowerPoint files are supported?

The converter accepts .pptx files, the standard modern PowerPoint format. If you have an older .ppt file, save it as .pptx first or re-save it in a compatible format.

Do animations carry over to the PDF?

No. Animations and slide transitions are not represented in a static PDF. The output shows the final state of every slide.

Will my presentation be uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser. Your deck never leaves your device, which keeps confidential presentations private.

Do speaker notes appear in the PDF?

No. The PDF contains only what the audience sees on each slide. Speaker notes are excluded from the output.

Will the layout match my original slides?

Yes. Each slide is rendered at its original positions and sizes, so text boxes, images and shapes appear exactly where you placed them.

Can recipients open the PDF without PowerPoint?

Yes. A PDF opens in every browser, phone and PDF reader. That is the main reason to convert a deck before sharing it.

What happens to embedded videos and audio?

Media such as embedded video and audio is generally not carried into the PDF. Only the static visual content of each slide is preserved.

Yes, it is completely free with no registration, no watermark and no limit on the number of presentations you can convert.

Why does a slide look different in the PDF?

The most common causes are fonts that were not embedded in the source file or text overflowing its box. Open the converted PDF and check each slide after converting.

Should I keep the original PowerPoint?

Yes. Keep the editable .pptx as the source of truth. Use the PDF for sharing, printing and archiving, and the original whenever anyone needs to edit the slides.

Can I convert a PDF back into an editable PowerPoint?

Not reliably. Converting back is guesswork because a PDF is a flat page with no slide structure. Keep the original .pptx if the deck may need editing.

Will my fonts appear in the PDF?

Standard system fonts convert correctly. Fonts that are not embedded in the source presentation may be substituted with a similar typeface in the PDF.

Does the tool handle 16:9 and 4:3 slides?

Yes. Each slide becomes a page at its own aspect ratio, so widescreen and standard decks both convert with their correct proportions.

How do I know the conversion finished successfully?

The tool shows a preview of the converted pages before download. Check that the slide count matches your deck and that no slides show obvious layout breaks.

Can I convert a presentation with hundreds of slides?

Yes. The converter processes the whole deck in one pass. Very large presentations simply take longer because the conversion runs locally.

Why would a client prefer a PDF over the original deck?

A PDF looks identical on every device and cannot be accidentally edited, which makes it the safe, professional format for sharing finished presentations.

Can I reduce the file size of the resulting PDF?

The PDF size depends mainly on the images in the slides. Compress large images in PowerPoint before converting, avoid embedding oversized photographs, and the resulting PDF will be noticeably smaller while staying sharp.
